PROJECT INTRODUCTION

Supporting Public Crematorium Infrastructure in Taguig City


Living Roots Philippines completed the installation of two LV HUM D100 Human Cremation Systems for the City Government of Taguig, providing a complete cremation equipment package for the city's public crematorium facility in Taguig City, Metro Manila.

The project involved more than the delivery of cremation equipment. Living Roots Philippines' scope covered the manufacturing, delivery and onsite fabrication, installation, commissioning, and operator training of one lot of LV HUM D100 Human Cremation System, including two cremation units configured for the facility.

The project demonstrates Living Roots Philippines' capability to support institutional crematorium developments from equipment manufacturing and site coordination through installation and commissioning.

From Site Coordination to Installation

The Taguig City project required coordination between the Living Roots Philippines technical team and project stakeholders to integrate the cremation equipment into the designated crematorium facility.

Prior to installation, the team conducted site inspections and technical coordination to assess the equipment area and requirements for positioning the two cremation systems within the facility.

A human cremation system is not simply a standalone piece of equipment. Its installation has to account for the cremation chamber, secondary combustion system, chimney arrangement, operator access, utilities, maintenance access and the physical configuration of the building.

THE EQUIPMENT



At the center of the project are two LV HUM D100 Human Cremation Systems, installed side-by-side to support the operational requirements of the public crematorium.

The LV HUM D100 is Living Roots Philippines' human cremation system designed around a primary combustion chamber and secondary combustion chamber configuration.

ARCHITECTURAL INTEGRATION


Designed for Integration into a Public Crematorium


The completed installation demonstrates how the LV HUM D100 can be incorporated into a purpose-built crematorium rather than appearing simply as industrial equipment placed inside a building.

The Taguig systems feature a light stone-finish façade with contrasting dark framing, creating a clean and restrained appearance appropriate for the setting. The equipment's operating controls remain accessible from the front of each unit, while the combustion and exhaust components are integrated behind and above the architectural frontage.


The twin-unit arrangement provides the facility with two independent cremation systems within the same operational area.


INSTALLATION → COMMISSIONING → TRAINING


01 INSTALLATION

Integration of the two LV HUM D100 systems into the designated crematorium equipment area, including onsite fabrication and associated installation works within Living Roots Philippines' project scope.

02 COMMISSIONING

Following installation, the systems underwent commissioning to check the installed equipment and major components under operating conditions prior to regular facility use.

03 OPERATOR TRAINING

Designated personnel received practical instruction covering system controls, operating procedures, proper equipment use, routine inspection and basic maintenance.

The Taguig City installation was completed in April 2025, adding another government crematorium project to Living Roots Philippines' portfolio of cremation equipment installations in the Philippines.

The project demonstrates Living Roots Philippines' capability to undertake human cremation equipment projects involving manufacturing, site coordination, onsite fabrication, installation, commissioning and operator training under a single project scope.

For LGUs, memorial parks, cemeteries and private crematorium developers planning new facilities or upgrading existing ones, the Taguig project provides a real-world reference for the integration of multiple LV HUM D100 systems within a dedicated crematorium.
